Tigers blank Caps as Sullivan shines

Brendan Sullivan blocked 27 shots as Domenic Monardo and Nick Vangog scored two goals each to pace the Aurora Tigers to a 5-0 rout of the hosting Brampton Capitals Thursday night in Ontario Junior Hockey League Phillips Division action.

Jeff Vanderlugt also scored for the Tigers who held 2-0 and 4-0 period leads and won for the first tinme in three outings.

The Tigers host the Dixie Beehives tonight at the Aurora Community Centre.
