The third-place Georgina Ice are preparing for a home-and-home series against the Uxbridge Bruins this weekend.

Of note is the home portion of the series will be played Sunday at 5:30 p.m. at the Sutton Arena instead of the Ice Palace.

The Ice, who are flirting with a .500 record this year, are coming off a 9-3 win over the Lakefield Chiefs in which Mike Snowie had a six-point night.

They went on to lose their next game 6-3 to the first place Port Perry MoJacks.
