Muir reins in rookie title riding off to Oklahoma City

Susan Muir will cap her first full season in reining by competing in the 2008 FEI World Reining Masters in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma next month.

The Mount Albert resident, along with her stallion BM Really Boomin, was named the Canadian National high point rookie at the Ontario Reining Horse Association season-ending banquet last weekend in Guelph.

Finals standings were based on scores accumulated during eight events held during the season which ended in August.

The duo earned its ticket to Oklahoma City by winning reserve champion at the Eastern Canadian Affiliate Championships.
