Council approves paperless plan

After glitches were worked through, council approved the continuation of the paperless agenda for the 2009 council year.

Some of the complaints brought forward were the inability to make personal notes on the agenda, the possible distraction of open laptops and the navigation of electronic data.

Those problems could be eliminated with new software.

“It’s patience,” Mayor Jamie Young said, adding he hopes to bring the system to regional council. “I’m not a guy with a lot of patience, but I like the system.”
