Markham businesses can learn how to detect counterfeit money during a May 22 workshop at the Markham police station at 7 p.m.
Bank of Canada is hosting a one-hour, hands-on session starting at 7 p.m. at the station, on McCowan Road north of Markville Shopping Centre.
Store owners, managers or anyone who regularly handles cash can attend.
Registration is required; call 1-888-513-8212 before May 20.
