If the children want to go camping this summer, but they’re loath to leave home for too long, Markham Museum is hosting a family camp-in tomorrow that runs from 4 p.m. until noon Saturday.

You need a tent, and $10 per person for food on top of admission costs ($15 for adults, $10 for children and $40 for a family pass).

The museum provides entertainment, such as volleyball, badminton, mini putt, carousel rides and a telescope viewing of the stars.

If you can’t make this event, don’t worry because it happens again July 18 and 19.

The museum is on Hwy. 48 just north of 16th Avenue. Check out www.markhammuseum.ca for more information.
