A Christian fellowship conference, Women Alive, will be in Markham Oct. 17 to 19.

The weekend is hosted by Christine Williams of “On the Line with Christine Williams” and features Dianne Clemons, wife of Toronto Argonauts legend Mike “Pinball” Clemons.

Participants will choose three of the following 14 sessions:
• Living Under the Influence of the Holy Spirit - Diane Clemons
• Finding God in the Hard Places - Judith Meikle
• You Can Love the Bible - Leanne Friesen
• Designer Personalities - Karen Childs
• Spiritually Single - Wendy Bennett
• Affair-Proof Your Marriage - Sheila Wray-Gregoire
• How to Keep Your Cool When You Feel Like Losing it - Vera Archer
• Turn Your Writing From Blah to Beautiful - Karen Stiller
• Digging Deep and Discovering Diamonds - Leila Springer
• Money Matters - Janet Johnson

The conference is at the Holiday Inn at Steeles and Woodbine avenues in Markham. Registration is $169 with a deadline of Oct. 10.
