Fans vote Vincec top kart racer in nation

Mike Vincec has earned the respect of karting enthusiasts.

In a poll by Inside Track News, a Toronto  motorsport publication, the 17-year-old Stouffville native was chosen Top Canadian Kart Racer in the 2007 season after accumulating more than 5,000 votes.

A member of the Cameron Motorsports National Team, Vincec raced his way to three championships in the 2007 Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship series.

“It is really great to be selected by the fans and my peers for such a honour,” Vincec said. “We had a really good season in 2007 in both the Sunoco Ron Fellows Karting Championship Series and Stars of Karting. I am proud of our accomplishments and have to thank the Cameron Motorsports crew for giving me the opportunity, and the equipment to have a successful season.”
