Three separate fender benders along the same stretch of highway in Vaughan slowed motorists during this morning’s rush.

At 8:21 a.m., Ontario Provincial Police were notified of a collision between a transport truck and a car on the Hwy. 427 ramp to Hwy. 7.

An ambulance was dispatched but no injuries were reported. Two lanes were blocked but re-opened by 9:35 a.m., according to OPP.

At 9:54 a.m., a transport truck and car collided at the same location, resulting in a blockage of the right ramp lane, OPP said.

And at 10:10 a.m., minor injuries and property damage were reported after a third collision at the same location between a car and a tractor trailer occurred. Two lanes were blocked.

Meanwhile, in Markham, two people were hospitalized with minor injuries after a two-vehicle crash at Hwy. 48 and Castlemore Avenue at about 9:25 a.m., OPP said.

Property damage was also reported at the scene of a two-vehicle collision at Hwy. 404 southbound at Elgin Mills Road at about 8:05 a.m.
