If you’re a girl between 11 and 14, you can get fit and have fun trying all kinds of creative exercise techniques in a new program.
You will be introduced to activities such as yoga and pilates. Learn how to warm up and cool down before and after exercising and learn such things as muscle conditioning and relaxation techniques as well.
These are exercises that girls can continue to do “as part of their daily living”, program/aquatic supervisor Micole Ongman said.
The leisure services program starts Tuesday and takes place at the Lebovic Leisure Centre.
To register, call 905-642-7529.
