Have you seen the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffvile’s new-look web site?

The town unveiled the changes last month after surveying local residents.

The survey showed 77 per cent of residents got their information about the town from its advertisements in The Sun-Tribune, while 37 per cent used the town web site.

The new look focuses on users’ needs not town departments, deputy clerk Andrew Brouwer said.

Redundancies have been avoided, graphics improved and the look stepped up for those with reduced vision.

Most organizations revamp their sites every two to four years, he said.

“It’s a work in progress,” he said.

Feedback from residents is encouraged.

Agendas from town council meetings dating back to 1995 will soon be available on the site.
